Runners of the Month – September 2020

Clare Crofts
Mark Alldritt

"After smashing her 10k PB in Blackpool in August, Clare has gone on to improve even further in Sept with a 5km PB, excellent result in the WRRL 2 mile race and beating her predicted time in the club league too.

Fantastic improvement month on month and participation in every event (still) going.

Mark managed to compete in a real race and took the opportunity to improve on his 10K PB, setting a new mark of 41.16 at Kew Gardens.

Mark also has his sights set on a sub-90 half marathon, but he'll have to find a another proper race to do it in first :)

An honourable mention also to new member Tom Somerville who came first in the Milton Keynes Reimagined Marathon in a great time of 2.50

Super running people!"
