Runners of the Month – May 2020

Neelam Gill
Andy Hudson
Luke Morgan
Lewis Sheward

"In a month with no proper racing going we're going virtual racing and distance to find our Runners of the Month

The Warwickshire Road Race League has lost all fixtures this year so has switched to a Virtual format, with the first race being a 5K in May. The format worked really well and KR were rewarded with wins for the Ladies senior and masters teams, with the men coming second in both categories. Our first two RoMs are Luke Morgan and Lewis Sheward who placed 1st and 3rd in this 5K. Two young lads, we're excited about what they can do in the future

Within that same event, Neelam Gill managed to record a 5K PB, though I'm afraid that will have to remain unofficial until she can do it in a proper race. She's also been working on her shorter stuff over 1K and 1M, so watch her go when the time arises

Final RoM goes to Andy Hudson who achieved the challenge of running 100 miles in a week, a monster feat

Well done to Luke, Lewis, Neelam and Andy"
